And matching bracelet...

I have to admit, I think I am getting carried away here... but I wore my new necklace last night and this morning. What was missing? A bracelet to go with it.

Again, very easy, and quick to make.

Hook Size 8/1.50MM
Size 10 Crochet Thread

Base Chain:
String 16 beads on crochet thread
[Ch 3, ch 2 with bead, ch 3, ch 2 with bead] repeat 6 times, ending with ch 4
**Note: When attaching the beads, pull the first bead through the loop on your hook when making the chain stitch. Do not pull the second bead through. This will keep them lining up side by side rather than in a straight line in your work.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook
Row 2: Sc in next 2 st, [ch 3, sc in next st after bead set, sc in next 2 st] repeat to end. 5sc in last ch

Row 3: Repeat Row 2, working in back loop of base ch and ending with 4 sc in last ch. join with sl st to first sc
Row 4: Sc in same as join. Sc in next st, 5 sc in ch 3 space, [sc in next 3 st, 5 sc in ch 3 space] repeat 6 times, sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next 2 st
Row 5: sc in next 4 st, 5sc in ch 3 space,  [sc in next 3 st, 5 sc in ch 3 space] repeat 6 times, sc in next 4 st, 2sc in next 2 st, sc in next 2 st, join
Fasten off

There are many jewelry clasps you can use to finish off the bracelet, but I secured a bead at one end. You should have a hole at both ends of your bracelet, and can secure the bracelet by pushing the bead through that hole. Mine is a tight squeeze to secure the bracelet.

Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions while working through the pattern.
