My current undertaking... Bowling Pin Cocoon

Yes, you read that right. I am making a Bowling Pin Cocoon for a friend. Her first niece is on her way in a few months, and the parents-to-be are avid bowlers. She asked me to try to make a bowling inspired cocoon for the baby shower.

I scoured the internet, but have not found any patterns for this, so it is truly my first custom pattern. This is my progress so far...

At first I struggled to keep the bottom skinnier and flat, but it's quickly coming together. I hope to have the pattern ready in a few weeks with a finished product.
